The other weekend, our family went to see Inside Out on a Sunday afternoon. I knew I wanted to eat out afterwards and, because the theater was in close proximity to one of my favorite restaurants – Chili’s – it seemed a perfect combination.
I was in the mood to try something different. Gracie mentioned the Cajun Pasta, but I wasn’t sure she’d appreciate the cajun flavoring. In the end, I decided to order it and she went with something “safer” – the Chicken Crispers! I’m so glad that I ordered this because it was, by far, one of the better restaurant meals that I’ve had in a long time.
Here is how it is described on the menu:
Smothered in Alfredo sauce with a hint of Cajun spice, topped with grated Parmesan, diced tomatoes & chopped green onions. Served with garlic toast. Options:
• Seared Shrimp
• Grilled Chicken
I’m a pasta lover, and the penne in this dish was cooked to perfection (al dente). There was plenty of creamy sauce on it, and just the right amount of spicy kick. …read more
