A few years ago, 4 of my friends and I set off on a Glamping Adventure! To this day, we still have a little Glamping group on FB where we reminisce and share with each other. It was one of the most special trips I’ve ever participated in and I’m looking forward to doing it again. And you know what? There are so many lovely places all across the United States that would make great glamping destinations . . .
Sweeping majesty, untouched wilderness, astounding isolation: phrases like these don’t do justice to the amazing variety of U.S. National Parks. And there’s plenty more to do at these destinations than just “getting away from it all.” I’m highlighting four fantastic parks that are beautiful year-round, offer plenty of activities beyond “hiking until sore,” and don’t require a plane ride from the nearest major city.
