This past Saturday was the big day . . . the girls and I left the house before the sun was up, drove to Harrisburg to meet the train (a new experience for us) and headed to NYC for the day. Our goal, of course, was to see Amazing Grace. The train was interesting, the city was overwhelming, and the show was beyond-our-expectations fabulous!

Thanks to the internet and my love for all-things-Disney, I have an awesome friend (Rosanne from What’s the Point?) who met us at the station and gave us a whirlwind tour of Times Square and the Broadway district. We visited The Disney Store, and took some pictures of all the Broadway Marquees (Gracie was in Musical Heaven . . . dreaming of all the shows she hopes to see!) Next time, I want to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe! We saw the Empire State Building and the place where they drop the ball on New Years Eve (see it behind the girls in the picture below?)
