So far, in the few short months that we’ve been on our 2 Year Musical Journey, we’ve gotten to see and do some really cool things. And, things have just fallen into place and worked out so well. That is, up until a few weeks ago. We had tickets to see Hairspray at the Carlisle Theater Company, and we were so looking forward to it. Then, Gracie’s friend Rylie (who has been accompanying us to many of our shows) found out that she had to work that day. Unfortunately, before we even found someone to take her place, Brian’s mom passed away and her funeral was scheduled for Sunday, October 11th – Hairspray Day.
Thankfully for me, I have good friends. I called on my good friend Tammy and she and her son Jonathan gladly stepped in and accompanied the girls. I was so sad that I had to miss the show, but family had to come first.*
