On the mean streets of New York at Universal Studios Orlando sits Louie’s Italian Restaurant, a quick service dining location that serves up pizza by the slice and pie. With some additional salad and pasta offerings, Louie’s Italian Restaurant is mostly gluten-filled but does have a few options for those who are gluten free.
During Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, we stopped by Louie’s Italian Restaurant, as the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley had closed, and our group was not thrilled with the idea of getting burgers again (and I’d recently been glutened by Mel’s Drive-In at Universal Studios). I wasn’t sure if I’d have any options but was surprised to learn from the manager that the restaurant carried gluten free pasta. Oddly, they didn’t have gluten free pizza for those who consume dairy. The only options were a salad (Caesar, which contains cheese) or plain pasta (without cheese).
