Disney on Ice Presents 100 Year of Magic was, by far, the best Disney on Ice show I have ever seen. This fast paced show was enjoyable from start to finish and I could tell that it was loved by the little kids and big kids in the arena. I turned around at one point and saw grown ups signing along with the music.
The cast of over 50 different Disney characters includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, who run the show. Disney Princesses including Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Snow White and Tiana are all featured. Each princess and her princess took turns skating together in one lovely song.
Of course, Frozen has a central piece in the show with a quick retelling of the entire story with Anna, Elsa, Hans, Kristoff and, Olaf. (Olaf received a louder and more excited welcome than even queen Elsa!) Frozen had the largest piece of show, which makes sense with its popularity. The show also features songs from these great Disney movies:
- Toy Story
- Frozen
- Pinocchio
- Finding Nemo
- The Lion King
- Beauty and the Beast
- Aladdin
- Mulan
Here are a few highlights of characters seen in the show. With 50 Disney characters, it was hard to include everyone.
I just loved that this show featured so much from classic Disney movies like Mulan and Pinoochio. With quick segments from each show, they were able to play the best songs from each show. And, switching from one movie to the next, the show kept moving at a great pace. Even the littlest of guests were kept entertained and not bored!
I would highly recommend Disney on Ice Presents 100 Year of Magic to any Disney fan. It’s a great show!
