We have this local 50’s diner that we like to visit on occasion. And, when we do, you can guarantee that Gracie is going to request these fries. The diner often does fundraiser events. Several weeks ago, the proceeds were going to the music program at the local high school (where Gracie participates quite a lot); so Gracie, Ian, and I went for lunch. We each got a sandwich, and we got an order of these fries to share.
As you can tell from the picture, it’s a LARGE order of fries, topped with cheese sauce, barbeque sauce, and bacon. Their fries are delicious skin-on fries, and the loaded variety is SO loaded that you need to eat them with a fork (unless, of course, you enjoy messy fingers!)
I’ve been dying to try the Loaded Waffle Fries from the Golden Oak Outpost at the Magic Kingdom, but they never seem to be open when we’re there. So, in the meantime, I enjoy trying other restaurants’ varieties on loaded fries. …read more
