Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Earlier this year, I found a list of books that will be made into movies in 2016. I could just tell that several of them would be movies that Gracie would be wanting to see. So, I checked out the books on Amazon and added a good many of them to my cart. This was the first one that I actually ordered. I started reading it – along with two other books that were on my nightstand – but this one was hard to put down. It has a suspenseful aspect to it. It’s mysterious and supernatural. But, probably what makes it the most appealing is the addition of vintage photographs, scattered throughout the story. (There’s something about old pictures that adds to the creepy-factor. Just sayin’…)
Anyway, I heard this is just book one in what has become a trilogy. And, I was left hanging at the end, so . . . I guess Hollow City and Library of Souls will be coming to live with me soon as well.
