I’m not a total germophobe, but I’m definitely germ conscious. And, there are some things that just really gross me out. One of them is toothbrushes.
At our house, we keep toothbrushes in both our upstairs (main) bathroom and our downstairs (half) bathroom. In both bathrooms, I have little metal toothbrush holders. Upstairs we keep it in the medicine cabinet; downstairs it sits on the vanity. In both places, the toothbrushes look something like this:
Now, even the least germ conscious can surely see that this is gross! I know, I know . . . the whole “you’re all family” thing. But, what about those times when one of us is hacking and coughing? Or maybe has the flu? Ewww . . . I’m sorry but, as much as I love them, I don’t want to be sharing saliva with them.
