Bread SRSLY is a gluten free sourdough bread company, where the bread is made in a dedicated facility using wild yeast to make the bread truly sourdough. I’ve long heard amazing things about their breads and have always wanted to try them. Because they are based in California, I can’t buy them at the store, though you can easily buy them online.
Recently, I reached out to Bread SRSLY about my cooking series, “My Gluten Free Disney Kitchen,” where I recreate classic Disney favorites at home gluten free. One of these recipes includes Tonga Toast a classic sourdough bread based breakfast dish at Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Bread SRSLY is one of the few whole loaf gluten free sourdough breads that I know of, and I was really hoping to make Tonga Toast with their bread. After reaching out to them they kindly offered to send me a few loaves for the project.
