My friend Mike over at My Dreams of Disney has started a new series of blog posts, each one focused on a #DisneyMemory. I asked him if he’d mind if I joined in the fun and played (or blogged, as the case may be) along.
Just the other day, when I posted about The Land Pavilion, I shared about how some things are just “must dos” for me because they are nostalgic – because they made an impression on me years ago and now I have to relive that experience over and over again.
That’s how I feel about Peter Pan’s Flight. I can’t say that I actually remember that first ride on it, but I know that we rode it for the first time on our first visit to Walt Disney World, when I was 17. And I know that it’s a classic. Like It’s a Small World, the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Jungle Cruise, and the Carousel of Progress, it’s one of those rides that I just want to go on when I’m at the Magic Kingdom.
