Last week, I started a series of posts that will focus on our homeschool curriculum choices for this year. I’ll be talking about our choices for Gracie’s Senior Year as well; but today, again, I’m going to be sharing about Ian’s 5th Grade curriculum through Abeka Academy.
Unlike the Bible class, which came with no books or curriculum, we got plenty of books for math (or Arithmetic, as they call it).
Textbook – this book is consumable, meaning that you can write right in the book
Quizzes, Tests, and Speed Drills – I actually keep this with my Teacher materials and just hand him each page, as needed, but the quizzes, tests, and speed drills tear out and you write on them as well
Arithmetic Answer Key – this spiral-bound book is exactly like Ian’s textbook, only smaller (each 2-page lesson spread is on 1 page in this book). It includes all the answers and shows the work.
