Four years ago on the 4th of July, we were sitting around the fire pit in my parents’ backyard (just down the street), when we saw a tiny little kitten wander over through the neighbor’s hedgerow. We were immediately taken with him. We brought him into the house and called all the neighbors to see if he belonged to anyone.
