I’m going to end this Question and Answer series exactly where I started it, with these verses:

God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. ~Psalm 68:6 NIV
I once heard it said that if every Christian family would adopt just one child, there wouldn’t be any orphans left in the world. I don’t know if that statistic is true, but it is definitely something to think about.
God commands us to look after the orphans. If that doesn’t mean adoption, then there are definitely other ways that you can help – by supporting adoptive families either financially or through prayer, by donating to your church’s adoption fund or making an anonymous donation through an adoption agency, or by finding ways to support orphan programs in foreign countries.
