Dinner at Sanaa

Sanaa, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village, is a long-time favorite of mine and my family’s. In fact, we’ve been going to Sanaa since it’s opened back in 2009. I remember the days when this restaurant was totally off-the-beaten-path and a hidden gem. Of course, now everyone knows about Sanaa and its fantastic special dietary needs options. Recently, Brandon surprised me with a reservation to Sanaa to celebrate my birthday. He knows how much I love Sanaa, so it was such a sweet surprise to celebrate there on my birthday.


Sanaa means “work of art” in Swahili, and this restaurant truly is a work of art. From the moment you arrive, you’ll see beautiful decor inspired by its African roots.
