We are so excited about the phased reopening of Universal Orlando Resort that started with the opening of the parks on June 5. Here are some of the important things you need to know.
Entering the Parks
In the parks, guests need to wear masks. Be prepared to have your temperature taken when you arrive at the parks. As you enter security, you will start to see signs with social distancing guidelines.
You’ll also notice extra cleaning. The staff is doing an excellent job of wiping everything down regularly from City Walk to the parks. Signage reminds you about frequent hand washing, social distancing, and keeping your mask over your nose and mouth.
Most locations are open, but not everything. Restaurants have limited menus and seating. Quick locations, like Voodoo Donuts, have social distancing set up in the queue and some locations offer mobile ordering. Check the Universal Orlando App for current hours of operation.
Universal Studios & Island of Adventure
The parks are open with limited capacity and the majority of the attractions and shows are open with social distancing in the queue.
Popular attractions have a virtual queue option in the app available. Use the app to check wait times as well.
